Carnegie Hall Presents

Opening Night Gala
NYO-USA All-Stars

Tuesday, October 7, 2025 7 PM Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage
URL Copied
Daniel Harding by Julian Hargreaves, Yuja Wang by Wel Lai
Join us in the grand Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage to kick off Carnegie Hall’s 135th concert season! This celebratory performance is anchored by the NYO-USA All-Stars—an extraordinary Carnegie Hall alumni orchestra of young professionals—and conductor Daniel Harding. Their program of symphonic staples begins with selections from Bernstein’s Symphonic Dances from West Side Story. Superstar pianist Yuja Wang then takes the stage for Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1, a virtuosic showpiece that Wang performs while directing the orchestra from the piano. The concert concludes with Stravinsky’s The Firebird Suite, a spectacular work that quickly took the music world by storm and remains an all-time favorite today.

In addition to the concert, celebrate the launch of our 2025–2026 season in style with an unforgettable evening of black-tie festivities. Choose to attend a pre-concert cocktail reception at Carnegie Hall, a post-concert gala dinner at Cipriani 42nd Street, or both. Individual gala tickets start at $1,000 and include prime seating for the concert.

Gala ticket availability is limited. Please click the Gala RSVP for most updated inventory.
