Carnegie Hall Presents

Academy of St. Martin in the Fields

Thursday, March 5, 2026 8 PM Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage
Joshua Bell with Academy of St. Martin in the Fields by Laurence Mueller
Violinist Joshua Bell—“one of the most imaginative, technically gifted and altogether extraordinary violinists of our time” (The Washington Post)—leads the world-renowned, conductor-less chamber ensemble Academy of St. Martin in the Fields. Among other works, the program features Robert Schumann’s First Symphony, “Spring,” a timely selection that heralds the season’s awakening. The concert also includes Brahms’s Violin Concerto, one of the instrument’s greatest works and an exciting showcase for Bell.
