Lang Lang
Pianist Lang Lang is a rare artist, a worldwide musical ambassador with an inspiring ability to connect with audiences. His career includes numerous iconic Carnegie Hall moments—including his legendary debut recital—and with a two-year Perspectives series beginning this season, he writes the next chapter. On Carnegie Hall’s Opening Night, he performs Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 with Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic. In March, Lang Lang returns with more intimate performances: a duo program with soprano Angel Blue and a solo recital that is sure to be one of the season’s most popular.
