Virtuoso Maxim Vengerov is one of the world’s most celebrated violinists, and his three-year Perspectives series—which begins this season—is a remarkable way to experience the astonishing breadth of his talent. Vengerov begins the series by performing Mozart’s complete works for violin and orchestra in back-to-back concerts with Orpheus Chamber Orchestra. In an all-Brahms program with The Met Orchestra, he continues a season-long focus on extraordinary concertos. In a master class open to the public, Vengerov also provides fresh insight into his artistic approach as he works with exceptional rising musicians.
