Mahler Symphonies at Carnegie Hall

A great performance of a symphony by Gustav Mahler is one of the most treasured experiences in live music. In Carnegie Hall’s 2023–2024 season, audiences will discover the depth and excitement of this timeless music performed by some of today’s most-renowned interpreters.

Sir Simon Rattle conducts the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra in a performance of the Sixth Symphony. Franz Welser-Möst leads the Vienna Philharmonic in Symphony No. 9 and The Cleveland Orchestra in the Adagio from Symphony No. 10. Yannick Nézet-Séguin is on the podium for Symphony No. 5 with The Met Orchestra and Symphony No. 7 with The Philadelphia Orchestra (in a program that also features lieder by Alma Mahler). Plus, pianist Igor Levit performs a stunning solo arrangement of the Adagio from Symphony No. 10.
