Led by Colin Jacobsen and Eric Jacobsen, The Knights expand classical music’s boundaries with innovative programming, exuberant performances, and insatiable curiosity. Across two concerts, they perform a symphony by Robert Schumann; a New York premiere by Gabriel Kahane; an inspired melding of Philip Glass’s Symphony No. 3 with poetry by J. Mae Barizo; and a varied reflection on the United States, featuring music by Ellington, Bonds, Ljova, Copland, and more.
