Friday Nights in Zankel Hall
Friday nights bring an intoxicating sense of possibility in this three-concert series. The hugely popular, trailblazing Kronos Quartet has built its 50-year career on nonstop innovation. Cécile McLorin Salvant is a startingly gifted jazz vocalist and composer, and this performance showcases her Grammy Award–winning collaboration with exemplary pianist Sullivan Fortner. Plus, as part of this season’s celebration of Latin culture in the US, experience a new collaboration between two innovative, Grammy Award–winning bands from East Los Angeles.

Joyce and George T. Wein Shape of Jazz
Carnegie Hall’s legacy of world-class and wide-ranging jazz programming continues in this five-concert series. Visionary vocalist Cécile McLorin Salvant leads her band as part of her 2024–2025 Carnegie Hall Perspectives series. Pianist, composer, and bandleader Nduduzo Makhathini plays an exciting role in our season’s spotlight on the music of South Africa. New York City downtown veteran Steven Bernstein performs his Carnegie Hall headlining debut. Claudia Acuña leads a concert of Latin American standards in the unique Zankel Hall Center Stage configuration. Guitarist Kurt Rosenwinkel, called “the sound of the future—just like bebop once was” (Chicago Tribune), performs with his band.

The New York Pops
The New York Pops returns to Carnegie Hall with Steven Reineke and spectacular special guests. Celebrate Tina Turner with Adrienne Warren, who won a Tony Award for her portrayal of the rock icon in Tina: The Tina Turner Musical. Experience an all-new program starring Max von Essen, including Great American Songbook favorites and more.
